Having been Q'Aestor's second in command, Shyda took temporary leadership of the group. At the time, Hangor did not protest this decision, but when came the time to decide the fate of the Malekian people, Hangor and Shyda had different opinions on how things should proceed. While Shyda believed that curing the Malekian in stasis was to be the top priority, Hangor believed that starting to repopulate their species was paramount. He decided that the three Malekian male guardians (Himself, Wavon and Majur) should take the three females (Shyda, Benora, Tandel) as wives and start making offsprings. He also added that each of the males should also impregnate the other two females, to increase the genetic diversity, but as Malekians were a monogamous race, the fertilization of the other females would be done in vitro. He also decided to cultivate the seeds of the Malekians in stasis to increase the genetic pool, but Shyda was adamantly against the idea. Hangor challenged her leadership and requested a formal election. The majority did agree that the survival of the species was the most important issue, and the leadership was given to Hangor. Powers: Energy manipulation: Hangor can manipulate various forms of energy. Energy blast: He can release blasts of high intensity fusion energy. Optic blast: He can also release his energy balsts optically. Space travel: Hangor can travel interplanetary space and survive the vacuum and the radiation it contains. He can reach 0.1 light speed. Super strength: His strength is somewhere in the 300 tons range. Omnilinguilism: He can communicate with any intelligent life form through guardian speech. Self-sustaining: Like all guardians, his body lives off starlight, so he does not need to eat or drink. Enhanced vision: He can see in various modes and can stare directly at the sun. Extended lifespan: As a guardian, he possesses long life. Appearance: Like all Malekians, he has an external vertebra at the neck and possess vestigial flagella, tentacle-like appendages, on his back. Unlike those of Q'Aestor, Malekian flagella are flaccid and are not prehensile. Instead of eyebrows, Malekians have winglets. These flutter to cool down the body. Curiosities: Malekians do not have family names. Rather, they are given a descriptive. This descriptive depicts meaningful moments, places, or events occurring at the time of their birth. These are usually used as introductions as well as the story behind it. |
