His main task was to take on Roguestar or Meridian in a cage fight, but to the surprise of the Benicians, and Grinder as well, Meridian proved to be way out of his league. She knocked him out with a flick of her finger. After this shameful display, Grinder was let go by the Benicians. Unfortunately for him, he had not been paid and found himself stranded on Andaleb IV. With him black listed by the Benicians, he could not find work in the Benician section of town and lacked the proper ID to work in the Human sectors. Luckily for him, he was offered a job by Carly, of the Rogues' Café. While Roguestar and Meridian were off world, Grinder became the new bouncer at the Café.
